ABOUT ME

Rosemary Ferguson Gathings is a local painter, printmaker, and business owner who graduated from the Mississippi State University School of Fine Art. Rosie sells original work through her business Rosie Hues Fine Art. Her brand name is based on the french phrase ‘La Vie En Rose’ - seeing life through rose (or ‘rosie’)-colored glasses. Her bright pop, graffiti-style creations are inspired by today’s modern artists and her goal is to capture the vibrance of life through eccentric personalities as her subject matter. Rosie has a local studio at her home here in Jackson and is currently being represented by Gallery Orange in New Orleans. As Rosie says "Life is short - it should be fun and above all, FILLED WITH ROSIE HUES."
